The Locality Network

The people worth knowing, in the city you call home.

The Locality Network is a private, vetted membership in each city we open in. Members meet at small dinners and talks, in circles around what they do, and through introductions our team makes by hand.

What membership includes

Membership is built around meeting people in person, in your own city, and around a team that knows who you should meet.

  • Dinners, talks and gatherings

Members-only events with limited places. RSVP in one click, join the waitlist when it's full, and bring a guest when the event allows.

  • Circles

Small groups around an industry or an interest, each led by a member who hosts it.

  • Introductions

Ask our team to introduce you to someone. It happens only when both of you agree.

  • Asks and offers

Post what you need or what you can give. Members who can help reply to you privately, never in public.

  • A directory you control

Find members by industry, company and what they can help with. Everyone decides how much of themselves others see.

  • A letter every Monday

What's coming up, who has joined and what members are asking for, in one email. Turn it off whenever you like.

More about membership

How joining works

Membership is by application. Every applicant is reviewed by people, not by a form, and there's no cost to apply.

  1. Create a free account

Verify your email and phone number. Your basic profile is only ever seen by logged-in members.

  2. Apply

Tell us what you do, what you're looking for and what you can offer. It takes about five minutes.

  3. Talk with our team

If your application moves forward, we call you for twenty to thirty minutes.

  4. Committee review

Our membership committee reviews every application personally.

  5. Your offer

If you're approved, you receive a private membership offer, valid for seven days.

Who it's for

Founders and executives, professionals, public figures, athletes and the owners of local businesses. What members share is a stake in their city and a willingness to help one another.

What we ask of members

Take part
Come to events, and answer the asks you can help with.
Be local
Live, work or do business in the chapter's city.
Keep it private
What members share in the network stays in the network.

Private by design

  • Publicly, a member shows only their name, title, company, state and photo, and can turn even that off. Everything else is for logged-in members.
  • You choose who can find you: everyone, only your name and role, or nobody at all.
  • Nobody can message you until you accept their request.
  • Card details go straight to our payment providers and never touch our servers.

Chapters

Each city is its own chapter, with its own members, events and team.
